A German residence permit that lets qualified people enter Germany for up to one year to look for a skilled job, with permission to work part-time while searching.

How many points do I need for the Opportunity Card?

At least 6 points, plus the basics: a recognized qualification and at least German A1 or English B2.

Do I need to speak German for the Opportunity Card?

Not to be eligible — English B2 is enough. But German adds points and makes finding a job far easier.

Is my degree from Rwanda accepted?

Often yes, if your university and degree are recognized. We check this in Germany's official anabin database before you apply.
